TESTIMONIALS
"Our organization is using
CADminer for our CAFM tasks. The software provides a unique
interface between our CAD database and software such as Microsoft Excel and
Microsoft Access. CADminer makes it possible to
quickly extract fresh data from our CAD files.
In one specific task, we use it
to compile space usage data (CAFM attributes) affiliated with 5400 rooms’
‘zones’ spanning many drawings. The report generated is then imported
into our database software for additional report formatting and querying.
Another function CADminer does well involves
annotating CAD drawings with external information from a spreadsheet."

"Our company recently purchased CADminer,
and it has delivered as promised. It has allowed us to ‘mine’
specific information from our drawings in order to create a Bill of Materials.
We researched several programs, and CADminer looked
to be far and above the best choice for us. From the very start, Cadinfo gave us a two month free trial and have been extremely
quick to respond when we required technical support."

"Our current version of CADminer
is used for keynote gathering. As an example, in AutoCAD or ARRIS, on
an agreed upon layer, keynote numbers are placed, five digits with an optional
letter suffix. CADminer gathers these numbers and
saves them to a text file. Using MS Access and its macros, the output text
file is read, duplicate numbers are removed, and the single references are
sorted in ascending order. The macro then compares the value with a number
value of the table of contents - spec section titles in the database. The
entire table of contents from Lynx Specifications has been imported via .TXT
file into access, (Two fields - spec section number & TOC titles). The
output is a text file with a single instance of each placed spec section number
with the descriptive text for the referenced spec section. This file
is then inserted back into the drawing that has been gathered. Typical turnaround
time with proof reading, output file and placement on drawing is about ten
minutes. This simple piece of semi-automation is a great time saver."

"Thank
you very much for your great support. We have found CADminer to be very helpful
to our project, extracting the Text strings from our AutoCAD drawings and
parsing the Text strings with MINERtools to report on more information."

"As
a Facilities Project Manager at TIBCO, I am responsible for space plans, space
allocations, move coordination and as-built drawings of TIBCO facilities.
I am also responsible for providing headcount numbers along with monthly updates
of sq. ft. numbers for charge-back to specific departments. I am responsible
for all aspects of office moves incorporating, getting move list from the
departments, creation of mail list for email notification, getting quotes
for the move, move coordination, and spearhead move related meetings and any
post move issues.
When I
joined TIBCO in November of 2000, the job to provide HeadCount and Square
Feet calculations to upper management was a long and tedious process. I would
spend 16-18 hour days for a couple of weeks to manually complete a month-end
report. Unfortunately, this process went on for approximately 2-3 months.
Then, CADminer came into the picture and, as if by magic, my 80-hour work-week
was non-existent. CADminer has worked wonders for me and I could not foresee
ever working without it. The CADminer application together with AutoCAD 2000i,
CADminer template files and excel spreadsheets have been an invaluable asset
to our department. The month-end reports are now done in a matter of minutes
and the accuracy in which they are done is unbeatable. The people at Cadinfo
have been a valuable resource in these past four years. I truly recommend
this great product; its value and ease-of-use are unmatched."
